To provide guidance and direction, a quality policy has been established and communicated by DJFMH management that will serve as our guiding principles towards provision and improvement of our services:

The Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital endeavors for excellence in the provision of the comprehensive, competent and compassionate reproductive health service, delivering babies of mothers with primary concern for their safety, dignity, and comfort that far exceeds their requirement and expectations, provide residency and fellowship  trainings and promote collaborative research in the national and international front.

We are committed to continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and to comply with all the applicable regulatory/ statutory, quality management system, environmental and health/ safety requirements of the government and other recognized national and international quality certifying organizations.

The Quality Management System (QMS) Unit is the structured framework wherein quality objectives are established and constantly reviewed.  The unit upholds the integrity of a sound quality foundation for service, training and collaborative research with emphasis on excellence in the field of reproductive health.  It serves as the regulatory body for the continual improvement and effectiveness of the Quality Management System through the use of quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions and management review.

The Quality Policy is reviewed periodically and as deemed necessary by QMS Unit and by management in order to ensure continual suitability/ adaptability to current changes and needs.

The Quality Policy is communicated and understood within the organization.  Thus, all hospital personnel shall distinctively embark on active and courteous engagement with clients.  Such interactions are geared towards the establishment of rapport with the client, focused on their health needs and development of strong partnerships and shared accountability for the best reproductive health outcome.
